Three new esters of some ferrocenyl-containing alcohols with artesunate were synthesized, the composition and structure of which were analyzed using 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. An increase in the proportion of ((1S)-1-ferrocenyl)-ethylartesunate in the racemic mixture of the product to 94.1% compared with the proportion of (1S)-1-ferrocenylethanol equal to 75% in the original racemate shows that the esterification reaction (1R)-1 -ferrocenylethanol with artesunate is more difficult than with another antipode of alcohol.
