Otakhonov, Kobiljon K., Akhmatakhunova, Feruza T.
Abstract
White birch (Betula pendula) is a perennial tree up to 25 meters high and a trunk up to 50 sm thick. As a biological agent, betulin and its derivatives contained in white birch have great potential in the treatment of HIV and cancer. It is also one of the most effective treatments for psoriasis. The article presents the results of the determination of heavy metals in 7- and 9-year-old white birch bark by dry mineralization using the polarographic method.
