Abstract

The article analyzes the chemical composition of elderberry plant, its importance for human health, and the amount of water-soluble vitamins and flavonoids in the plant extract using HPLC. The amount of vitamins increases in the order B6<B1<B3, and the amount of rutin and apigenin is higher than the rest of the flavonoids.
