This analytical article presents an analysis of the work being carried out on the issue of simplifying customs procedures and creating favorable conditions for business entities. Samples of equipping the Central Customs Laboratory with modern equipment are presented at the expense of a special fund of the Customs Committee, as well as on the basis of grants from the United States and the European Union. In conclusion, the analysis revealed that the creation of convenient conditions, the acceleration and improvement of the quality of customs examination processes, along with the correct assignment of HS codes to goods, additional collection of customs duties to the state budget is achieved.
