Abstract

The problems of chronic pathology of the pharynx occupy a leading position in the register of chronic pathology of the upper respiratory tract. Currently, only the share of chronic tonsillitis in the structure of the prevalence of pharyngeal diseases accounts for 23.7% of cases. According to the research results of many scientists, the incidence of chronic tonsillitis in various age groups ranges from 22.1% to 40.1%, from 5.6-37% to 15-63% in adults and children, respectively.
