Аннотация
Periodontal diseases are one of the most pressing problems in dentistry (85-90%), with periodontitis accounting for 70-80% of cases (Liccardo D. et al., 2019; Barros S.P. et al., 2020). Periodontitis is an inflammatory-dystrophic disease that occurs due to general factors, such as vitamin C, B1, A, and E deficiencies, endocrine imbalances, and local factors, such as an imbalance between bacterial symbiosis and oral tissues, which is accompanied by a decrease in the body's reactivity. Today, the prevention and treatment of periodontitis is a pressing issue. This is due to the high prevalence of periodontal diseases, as well as their tendency to have a long-lasting chronic course and recurrences.
