TO STUDY THE FUNCTIONAL STATE OF THE THYROID GLAND IN WOMEN WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS, WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE IODINE DEFICIENCY ZONE

Abstract
The article studied the functional state of the thyroid gland with the help of hormonal examination and ultrasound in sick women with a history of type 1 diabetes mellitus, who lives in the Fergana region. According to the results obtained, in women of childbearing age with type 1 diabetes mellitus, in group 1, a 2 degree of thyroid enlargement was detected in 44 women, in the 2nd, i.e., control group in healthy women, 2 degrees of thyroid enlargement was observed in 11 women. During the analysis, it was found that patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus in group 1 had forms of multi-nodular goiter, and in group 2 women, forms of multi-nodular goiter were not found.
