THE IMPORTANCE OF ASSESSING THE LIFE QUALITY OF PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE AND METABOLIC SYNDROME

It is well known that almost all diseases directly or indirectly affect the quality of life of patients. Research in recent years has made it possible to expand and complement the understanding of the impact of ischemic heart disease and metabolic syndrome on the quality of life. In this article we analyzed modern works of foreign researchers. They pay attention to multiple aspects of the problem, considering not only physical, but also emotional, social and psychological components of the life quality of patients. Research works show that the approach to treatment and rehabilitation requires a holistic view, including lifestyle interventions, drug therapy, psychosocial support and physical rehabilitation programs.
