Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of constitutional norms, legislatively regulating the activities and mutual cooperation of internal affairs bodies (police) and citizens’ self-government bodies, in which the norms of the old and new Constitutions are studied in a comparative manner and various aspects are highlighted. Also, based on comparative legal methods, the constitutions of countries of the world were analyzed and it was revealed that the activities of internal affairs bodies and citizens’ self-government bodies (local self-government bodies) are regulated on the basis of constitutional norms
