The socio-educational model in second language acquisition

Abstract
Understanding the multifaceted nature of motivation in foreign language learning is critical to effective language teaching and learning. The article examines the role of motivation in foreign language acquisition by reviewing the existing literature from various theoretical and empirical perspectives, and based on established models such as Gardner’s social learning model andself-determination theory, the review examines the influence of motivation on language, learning outcomes in different contexts. The author clarifies the shortcomings and problems of scientific research, including the dynamic nature of motivation and its complex interaction with other psychological and sociocultural factors
