HYGIENIC ASSESSMENT OF WORKING CONDITIONS IN COTTON PRODUCTION
Болтаева Г.Р
Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the hygienic conditions of workers employed in the cotton industry in Uzbekistan. During cotton cultivation, workers are constantly exposed to various factors such as high temperatures, dusty environments, pesticide and fertilizer residues, physical strain, poor lighting, and insufficient rest conditions. These factors increase the risk of chronic fatigue, respiratory diseases, skin conditions, and other occupational illnesses among workers. Additionally, the article presents practical recommendations aimed at eliminating sanitary-hygienic problems in cotton cultivation, preserving workers’ health, and improving labor productivity.
