Abstract
Despite the fact that the comorbidity of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and coronary heart disease (CHD) has been widely studied in world medicine, it remains relevant today in the context of environmental factors, changing lifestyles, common risk factors, and increased mortality from both diseases. The high prevalence of the disease directly indicates an increase in disability and mortality from it.
