Objective: to study current literature data on the efficacy and safety of homeopathic therapy in the treatment of lichen planus of the oral mucosa The commonality of systemic and local pathogenetic mechanisms of OLP and chronic upper respiratory tract infections suggest equivalence between their homeopathic therapy, with fewer side effects and potentially more positive therapeutic results. The use of non-individualized homeopathic remedies is promising for further study, including through cohort studies. In light of the torpidity of ARL to drug therapy, with the development of a large number of side effects, Tonsilotren homeopathy offers alternative strategies for the treatment and possible prevention of OLP relapses. The ability of Tonsilotren to modulate various links of the immune-inflammatory process, by regulating the cellular or humoral immune response, to restore the functional activity of macrophages and the ratio of Th1 and Th2 activities of the cellular immune system, determines the prospects of Tonsilotren in correcting the insufficient function of the regulatory mechanisms of the immune system in lichen planus of the oral mucosa.
