The main role of the violation of the microbial landscape in the development of pathological states is the broken relationship of the microorganism and microflora. The microflora of the oral cavity changes in both qualitative and quantitative indicators, resulting in a violation of the barrier-protective mechanisms of the oral cavity. The article studied the antibacterial activity of topical antiseptic preparations (furacilin, acyclovir, oxolin, "Red Oil") and ultrasound used in the treatment of pediatric stomatitis under in vitro conditions. Ten microbial strains commonly found in the oral cavity were analyzed using the disk-diffusion method. Results showed that "Red Oil" demonstrated the highest antibacterial activity, affecting all strains except Candida fungi. Direct ultrasound exposure showed weak antibacterial effects, only effective against certain microbes. In conclusion, "Red Oil" is recommended for treating herpetic stomatitis in children, while ultrasound may enhance efficacy when used in combination with drugs.
