Аннотация

This paper presents information from key domestic and foreign scientific literature sources on the etiology, clinical presentation, and main characteristics of orbital fractures. It describes the features of early and late periods of post-traumatic orbital deformities, such as diplopia, enophthalmos, hypophthalmos, and potential treatment approaches. The modern capabilities of computed tomography in diagnosing orbital injuries are detailed. The article provides information from various authors on addressing the main challenges of orbital reconstruction, including the choice of tactics, surgical access, and intervention techniques. The properties of various materials for restoring orbital walls are described, and the advantages and disadvantages of plastic materials are discussed.
