Abstract
This article highlights scientific research by Uzbek psychologists on social relationships in single-parent families, role distribution, feelings of guilt experienced by women, and other related issues. Additionally, it examines scientific studies on the socio-psychological characteristics of intact and single-parent families, the influence of maternal personality on a child’s social perceptions, mother-child relationships, domestic violence, family role distribution, and the socio-psychological mechanisms ofchild personality formation.
