SEGMENTAL EXTRAPHERICAL PORTAL HYPERTENSION SURGICAL TREATMENT

Аннотация

Studying the results of surgical treatment of patients with CHD allowed us to review the indications for surgical intervention and substantiate the optimal volume of surgical intervention for this pathology. As a result, the indications for splenectomy have been narrowed, which can be justified only in the presence of varicose veins of the stomach in cases of pronounced hypersplenism. Ligation of the splenic artery and transfer of the decapsulated spleen to the retroperitoneal space are recognized as ineffective operations.
