Abstract
Metabolic syndrome (MS) in the period of formation of menstrual function in girls is one of the most urgent problems of modern pediatric endocrinology. Its formation is due to a combination of genetic, hormonal and metabolic factors that begin to manifest themselves already at puberty. During this period, the body undergoes significant hormonal changes, accompanied by changes in lipid metabolism, insulin sensitivity, and body weight regulation. The identification of early markers of lipid profile and hormonal status disorders makes it possible to predict the development of MS and carry out preventive measures before clinical complications occur.
