This scientific article analyzes the clinical course of gastric and duodenal ulcer disease associated with Helicobacter pylori under conditions of vitamin D deficiency. Research findings indicate that patients with low serum levels of 25(OH)D have a higher risk of eradication therapy failure. Furthermore, polymorphisms of the VDR gene, including FokI, BsmI, ApaI, and TaqI, have been shown to influence susceptibility to Helicobacter pylori infection, the course of the inflammatory process, and treatment outcomes. This article comprehensively discusses the role of vitamin D deficiency in the pathogenesis of Helicobacter pylori infection, its impact on the clinical manifestations of gastroduodenal ulcer disease, and modern approaches to eradication therapy based on both Uzbek and international scientific literature.
