Ахмедова Д.Б, Н.Г. Ашурова, М.Г. Раджабова
Abstract
This literature review examines the clinical features of chronic migraine (CM) and its impact on cognitive functions based on publications from 2020–2025 retrieved from Google Scholar and Scopus. The search followed PRISMA guidelines; 20 articles were included in the analysis. Findings indicate significant impairments in attention, memory, executive functions, and information processing speed in patients with CM, persisting during the interictal period. Comorbid depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders further aggravate cognitive deficits.
