Аннотатсия

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a relatively rare neurological syndrome in pediatric practice that can lead to severe complications if not diagnosed in a timely manner. It manifests predominantly with headache, vomiting, loss of consciousness, epileptic seizures, and visual impairment, and is characterized by vasogenic swelling in the brain during neuroimaging. This article analyzes the clinical, electroencephalographic, and magnetic resonance imaging data of PRES syndrome developed in an 8-year-old child against a post-infectious background and under conditions of relative arterial hypertension. Against the backdrop of timely initiated intensive therapy, a complete reversibility of neurological symptoms was observed.
