Аннотатсия
This study investigates the relationship between hard dental tissue status and mineral metabolism parameters in children with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. A total of 90 children aged 6–12 years were divided into main (complex treatment), comparison (standard treatment), and control groups. Dental status was assessed using DMF, OHI-S, Plaque Index (PI), and PMA indices, along with biochemical parameters including calcium and phosphorus levels. The results revealed a significant association between disturbances in mineral metabolism and deterioration of hard dental tissues (p<0.05). Hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia were strongly associated with increased prevalence of enamel hypoplasia and higher caries intensity. These findings highlight the importance of considering biochemical parameters in dental assessment of this patient group.
