A new method for surgical treatment of orbital floor fractures

Аннотация
The article presents information from major domestic and foreign scientific literature sources on the etiology, clinical presentation, and main characteristics of orbital fractures. It describes the features of early and late periods of post-traumatic orbital deformities, such as diplopia, enophthalmos, hypophthalmos, and potential treatment approaches. The modern capabilities of computed tomography in diagnosing orbital injuries are detailed. The paper provides insights from various authors on addressing the main challenges of orbital reconstruction, including the selection of tactics, surgical approach, and operative techniques. It describes the properties of different materials used for orbital wall restoration and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of plastic materials.
