Аннотатсия
Chronic recurrent herpetic stomatitis (CRHS) in pregnant and lactating women remains a pressing issue in dentistry due to altered immune status and limited treatment options.Purpose and objectives. To evaluate the effectiveness of a comprehensive treatment regimen for CRHS using photodynamic laser therapy (PDLT) and the herbal preparation Proteflazid.Materials and methods. The study was conducted at the Department of Hospital Therapeutic Dentistry, Tashkent State Dental Institute (2023–2025). Ninety-five women aged 18–40 years (51 pregnant, 44 lactating) were examined using clinical, dental, immunological, and statistical methods.Results. The proposed therapy — including oral rinsing with an alkaline solution, PDLT with 0.1% methylene blue, and Proteflazid applications — accelerated epithelial healing by 3–5 days compared with traditional treatment. Significant improvement in OHI-S and PMA indices and normalization of CD3+, CD4+, CD16+, and sIgA levels indicated restoration of local immunity.Conclusion. The developed comprehensive treatment scheme is effective for CRHS in pregnant and lactating women, reduces healing time, and normalizes immune parameters. It is recommended for clinical use.
