ВЛИЯНИЕ ДЕМОГРАФИЧЕСКОГО РОСТА НА РЫНОК ТРУДА В УЗБЕКИСТАНЕ

Аннотация
This article examines the impact of accelerated demographic growth on the stateand structure of the labor market in Uzbekistan during 2010–2023. Based on data from the StateStatistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the International Labour Organization, and the World Bank,a comprehensive analysis of the dynamics of the working-age population, employment rates, youthunemployment, and sectoral shifts in employment structure was conducted. It was found that theannual increase in the labor force by an average of 450–600 thousand people creates sustainedpressure on the labor market, accompanied by the expansion of the informal sector and increasedlabor migration. Key factors driving the transformation of employment were identified: structuraleconomic restructuring, digitalization, and state employment stimulation policies. Measures areproposed to align demographic and economic policies for the sustainable development of the labormarket.
