Аннотация
This article examines the main problems of ensuring thesustainability of public finance in the conditions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.The study analyzes budget deficit (around 2-3% of GDP in recent years), thegrowth of the public debt burden, the low financial independence of state-ownedenterprises and local budgets, shortcomings in tax administration, as well as therisks of the shadow economy and corruption. As ways to overcome theseproblems, the article proposes strengthening fiscal rules, expanding the tax baseand reducing the shadow economy, digitalizing public financial control,increasing the autonomy of local budgets, and introducing “green” financingmechanisms. The results show that comprehensive reforms will enhance theresilience of public finance and contribute to sustainable economic growth andsocial development.
