Currently, the theoretical and practical aspects of improving the activities of modernmanufacturing enterprises from the traditional linear economic model (“Take-Make-Dispose”) to theprinciples of a circular economy are increasingly gaining ground. The current model of production andconsumption leads to excessive consumption of natural resources, an increase in waste and environmentaldegradation. The main principles of the circular economy - the long-term preservation of resources, wasteminimization, reuse and regeneration processes - are analyzed, which can increase the efficiency ofenterprises, reduce the negative impact on the environment and achieve sustainable development byintegrating them into industrial production. The 5R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Redesign)are an operational implementation scheme of this economic model, creating opportunities for increasingresource efficiency, minimizing waste and ensuring green growth. The circular economy and its 5Rprinciples are one of the main factors of modern sustainable development, and it studies the trends of thecircular economy on a global scale, its importance for the national economy and implementationmechanisms. The main goal of this article is to develop effective mechanisms for the transition to a circulareconomy model in order to ensure the efficient use of resources in industrial enterprises, minimize waste,and support sustainable economic growth.
