Abstract
This article analyzes the importance and effectiveness of media literacy educational technologies in the learning process. In the modern digital information environment, students need to develop critical skills to identify and analyze reliable information sources.. Media literacy equips students with the ability to critically evaluate and use information effectively.The article explores the role of innovative technologies in fostering media literacy in modern educational settings, including interactive teaching methods, online platforms, and multimedia tools. These technologies create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fostersstudents’ self-directed learning. Through interactive lessons, forums, and online events, students gain opportunities to express and discuss their ideas, which enhances their analytical thinking skills. Additionally, the article examines the role of media literacy in educating the younger generation, along with its social, cultural, and economic aspects. Media literacy not only contributes to individual development but also positively impacts society by enabling datadriven decision-making. For instance, students utilize media literacy skills when analyzing social issues and proposing solutions, as well as when articulating their opinions. Consequently, the article offers modern approaches and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of educational technologies. It recommends organizing specialized courses and training for teachers to instruct media literacy, as well as incorporating media literacy modules into educational programs. It emphasizes the necessity for educational institutions and policymakers to develop strategic plans for advancing media literacy. The article provides practical recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance the quality of education through the effective integration of media literacy educational technologies.
