DISCOURSIVE PERSONALITY IN THE LIGHT OF CURRENT LINGUISTIC TRENDS: CONCEPT, STRUCTURE, AND DEVELOPMENT TRENDS
Normurodova, Nozliya
Аннотация
The anthropocentric approach in linguistics has led to the development of linguopersonology, whose central concept is the langauge identity (LI). LI is studied in terms of structure, typology, linguocognitive, psycholinguistic, and communicative-pragmatic aspects. The development of critical discourse analysis has expanded the concept of LI, transforming it into discursive personality (DP), which takes into account a person's linguistic abilities and discursive practices. A new theory of DP is being formed, which includes the study of DP in artistic discourse, where the author and characters are considered the models of DP. The relevance of the research is confirmed by the tasks of linguopersonology: the analysis of the structure, linguistic markers, and distinctive features of DP. The author's DP reflects a conceptually significant worldview, while the character's DP includes linguistic, communicative, cognitive, and cultural competences. The study of DP demonstrates anthropocentrism, associated with authorial modality and intentionality, and contributes to understanding the creative potential of the author and characters.
