Particular attention is paid to the structural and semantic features in compared languages (English, Russian, and Uzbek), examples of which are clearly shown in the tables for each language. The examples are analyzed by contrasting semes and arranged according to particular parts of speech. In addition, enantiosemy types are classified into two main subtypes: types in the language system (lexical, phraseological, interlingual, etc.) and contextual types (speech, metaphorical, interjectional, etc.). The article introduces a new type of enantiosemy – enantiosemy of address, which is justified by the cultural features of the language, namely, a highly contextual culture where kinship relations are valued above all. The present article highlights both universal and differential features of enantiosemy.
