Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical approaches to the mechanisms of formationof industrial clusters and their modern models. The role of clusters in the economic system, thestages of their formation, the main driving factors and management mechanisms are consistentlyconsidered. The author based his analysis on the connection of the formation of industrial clusterswith institutional, infrastructural and regional factors. The article compares and analyzes thespecific features of cluster models (vertical, hybrid, innovative, regional and inter-sectoralclusters) based on the experience of the USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries. Atthe same time, the economic, legal and organizational conditions necessary for the formation ofeffective industrial clusters in the conditions of Uzbekistan are analyzed and recommendations fortheir improvement are put forward.
