Abstract
This article examines cybersecurity threats in the modern digital environmentand methods for eliminating them. The article examines the main cyber threats such as phishing,malware, DDoS attacks, social engineering, zero-day attacks and botnets. To ensure cybersecurity,important protection mechanisms such as cryptography, network security, identification andauthentication, IDS/IPS systems, data backup and cyber hygiene are analyzed. The role of moderncryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and artificial intelligence technologies in ensuringcybersecurity is shown. Information is also provided about the reforms and legislative frameworkbeing implemented in the field of cybersecurity in Uzbekistan. It is emphasized that ensuringinformation security is a complex issue that requires not only technological, but also social andlegal approaches.
