The article provides information about the legacy of Fakhruddin Ali Safi, one of the leading moral scholars of the Timurid Renaissance, as well as the moral norms and principles set forth in his writings. In addition, the article describes the works of the thinker on the categories and principles of morality, as well as the ideas and views that express his ethical views are analyzed. It is noteworthy that in the process of studying the creative heritage of Ali Safi, his contemporaries also paid attention to moral education and spiritual maturity, which are an important factor in the overall development of society. Ali Safi, who had a special influence in the system of state and public administration in the XV-XVI centuries, also considered morality as a criterion that distinguishes man from beasts, encouraging him to use the capabilities of reason only in good deeds, and acts as the norm of the human heart. In all his works, not only religious-mystical, secular knowledge prevailed, but also the ideas of moral education.
