This article discusses ancient times and the social views of Western thinkers. As a result of the development of science during the Renaissance, a number of philosophers in Europe developed their own independent theories. As a result, new theories have emerged in the worldview of people and the development of society. The philosophical ideas and worldviews formed in the early stages of human development have evolved and become more complex as a result of the development of civilizations. It is known that in the VIII-VI centuries BC, cultural, economic and trade relations began to develop in cities such as Miley, Ephesus, located on the shores of Asia Minor and the Mediterranean. In particular, experts attribute the high level of development of science in the city of Ionia to the results of trade relations with the countries of the Middle East. At that time, the philosophy of antiquity also flourished and a number of philosophers emerged. The social views of thinkers and the fundamental ideas of the state system and governance are highlighted today.
