PROBLEMATIZATION OF THE TURKIC DISCOURSE OF AL-FARABI IN MODERN KAZAKHSTAN PHILOSOPHY

Abstract
The article deals with the new and little-studied foreshortening of studying the philosophy of al-Farabi and its significance for the present. Considering the different points of view on this problem, the author focuses on the social and philosophical views of al-Farabi, as they have the most pronounced Turkic influence. The “civic philosophy” of the thinker, the subject of which was the study of the “city” and the creation of the ideal of society - the “Virtuous City”, substantiates such provisions of the Turkic discourse as cooperation and mutual assistance aimed at the benefit of all; achievement of happiness as a goal of the state; priority of the general over the individual, the dependence of the life of the individual on the life of the social whole.
