Text as a product of a certain social phenomenon and experience has become the main object of research in linguistics. The study attempts to study the features and requirements of media texts through the analysis of children's publication materials. The purpose of the research is to reveal the communicative and contextual features of children's journalism in Uzbekistan, to show the advantages of the communicative-pragmatic approach in journalistic works aimed at the children's audience, investigate the methods of contextual communication. The article presents methods, techniques for enhancing the communicative impact of children's journalism publications, professional development for media professionals specializing in children's topics, lectures and practical classes on the topic of the article, teaching materials, practical results of preparing materials for professional development courses for journalists.
