PHRASEOLOGICAL PICTURE OF THE WORLD AS AN OBJECT OF LINGUOCULTUROLOGY

Abstract
This article deals with the importance of studying the phraseological image of the world and phraseological units within the framework of the scientific direction of Linguoculturology. Phraseological units, particularly proverbs and expressions, are important factors that reveal the culture and worldview of any people. The concepts in these proverbs and expressions are necessary for us to create an image of the linguistic world of the people whose language is analyzed. The article also discusses the meaning of metaphor in the image of the phraseological world. Conceptual metaphors create a picture of the world in human thinking, and the linguistic picture of the world of each nation is distinguished by a variety of conceptual metaphors. Different language users perceive concepts in conceptual metaphors with different meanings due to their culture, and history of development, and for this reason, create for themselves an image of the world through language. This article explains how language can influence the human mind and shape the cognitive system.
