ABOUT THE ASPECTUAL CHARACTERISTIC OF COMBINATIONS WITH LIMITED FUNCTIONAL VERBS IN THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article is devoted to identifying the aspectual (actional, actionsart, aspectual) meanings of combinations with limited functional verbs in the modern German language. Different types of aspectual situations, kernel components of which are the combinations with limited functional verbs were revealed. Interpretative and multiaspect-dominant approaches have been used. The analysis of utterances involving combinations with the limited functional verbs showed that they can participate in the organization of various aspectual situations, both terminative and durative, which, in turn, can be associated with multiple signs of an aspectual and nonaspective nature. The materials of the article and the applied methods can be used in the study of types of aspectual semantics of combinations with functional verbs in various languages. It should be emphasized that this is the first time the question of identifying a complex of aspectual signs of combinations with functional verbs and types of aspectual situations with their participation in modern German has ever been discussed. Since it is relevant to distinguish between the types of aspectual semantics associated with combinations with functional verbs.
