The safety of working conditions in underground mining is considered one of the important issues of the modern mining industry. This article focuses on the legal framework of security and international practice, highlighting their importance in improving the working conditions of mine workers. The integration of mine safety conventions and recommendations developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) into national legislation is analyzed. Advanced experience and technological solutions of developed countries were also studied, and the possibilities of their application in the conditions of Uzbekistan were discussed. The article developed practical recommendations aimed at increasing mine safety based on the importance of regulatory framework and compliance with international standards in ensuring labor safety. The results of the study serve to develop scientific foundations for the formation of strategic decisions aimed at ensuring safety in underground mining operations.
