THE IMPORTANCE OF IMPROVING THE METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING PHILOSOPHY IN THE FORMATION OF NEW THINKING

The worldview function of philosophy is to determine the values, life orientation of each person, his understanding of the essence of phenomena and the formation of a sense of involvement in events in society. The onto-gnoseological and anthropological orientation of philosophy contributes to the formation of the methodological culture of the future specialist. Therefore, philosophy, as one of the compulsory subjects of study, has been introduced into the curriculum of higher education, because the main function of philosophy is aimed at developing a worldview and critical thinking in every citizen. Consequently, this article analyzes the influence of philosophical education on the formation of elite culture. Key words: philosophy, citizenship, critical thinking, skills and competence, purpose and objectives of teaching philosophy, methods of teaching philosophy.
