ANTIHYPERTENSIVE EFFICACY OF TORASEMIDE IN COMBINATION WITH ANTIHYPERTENSIVE THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH RESISTANT HYPERTENSION

Abstract
The purpose of the study: to study the antihypertensive and vasoprotective efficacy of 3-month combined AGT with the inclusion of torasemide, as well as the tolerability of torasemide as part of combined antihypertensive therapy in patients with resistant hypertension. Materials and methods: The study involved 30 patients with resistant hypertension who are undergoing outpatient treatment at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology. Each patient was examined to identify risk factors and target organ damage. According to the protocol, the following examinations were performed: clinical examination, Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), echocardiography (EchoCG), ultrasound examination of the brachiocephalic arteries (BCA ultrasound), ultrasound tonometry, determination of the lipid spectrum of blood, electrolytes, sugar, creatinine, blood uric acid, microalbuminuria level in daily urine. Results: In general, 3-month combined AGT with the inclusion of torasemide showed high antihypertensive efficacy. There was a significant decrease in SBP, DBP, ABP, with a high degree of decrease in SBP by -19.0±4.5%, DBP by -15.3±6.1% and ABP by -17.1±4.7% Conclusion: The study demonstrated high antihypertensive efficacy of 3-month combined antihypertensive therapy with the inclusion of torasemide, with the achievement of the target level of systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic arterial pressure (DBP) simultaneously in 80% of patients and with a positive effect on the parameters of the daily blood pressure profile.
