Petroleum gas is a mixture of light hydrocarbons that exists in the free state of oil in the form of associated gas in the form of bubbles and dissolved gas. It consists of limited hydrocarbons - methane, ethane, propane, butane, and isobutane. According to the approximate estimates of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz”, 1.2 - 1.5 billion m3 of gas per year (currently reduced due to a decrease in gas production) is burned into the atmosphere, and a certain amount of heavy hydrocarbons are also burned in it. Proposals for the use of new technologies based on the application of oil gas liquefaction methods in the conditions of oil fields and the retention of heavy hydrocarbons were considered.
