Abstract
This article analyzes the increase in the concentration of toxic gases in the mine atmosphere during the mechanical extraction of minerals from the rock mass, the movement of transport vehicles, and underground mining operations using drilling and blasting methods. Based on the analysis results, local ventilation fans were studied to reduce the concentration of toxic gases in the atmosphere, and the movement of air flows was examined using a mathematical modeling program.
