The sequence of experimental work on determining the oil displacement coefficient by water is presented; it is shown that in the models of the oil displacement coefficient by water obtained as a result of experimental studies, various factors characterizing the filtration-capacity properties of reservoirs, the pore structure of the medium, and the physicochemical properties of reservoir fluids are used. It has been established that models for calculating the oil displacement coefficient by water with high correlation coefficients can be described by various types of dependencies: linear; quadratic; cubic; exponential; logarithmic exponential.
