Annotatsiya
This scientific work reviewed the literature of foreign and national scientific works devoted to coronary artery anomalies. In recent years, the features of the development and course of coronary heart disease, in particular its acute forms, in various groups of patients depending on gender, age, comorbid and other characteristics have been actively studied. An infrequent, but quite real cause of coronary insufficiency can be an anomaly in the development of the coronary bed. The true incidence of congenital coronary anomalies is unknown. For the adult population, it is estimated at approximately 2-3%. However, it is possible that coronary artery pathology can occur much more often, since it is often asymptomatic. In 80% of those examined, the identified anomalies do not cause significant disturbances in coronary blood flow. However, under certain conditions, for example, the presence of pathological processes (such as coronary sclerosis, valvular heart disease, myocardial hypertrophy, intramural location of the coronary arteries, myocardial bridges), the anomaly can contribute to the development of myocardial ischemia, aggravating the course of the underlying disease.
