Abstract
This article examines the geological structure and metallogenic features of the Almalyk ore region, as well as the origin and interrelationships of lead-zinc and copper-porphyry deposits. Lead-zinc deposits were formed mainly as a result of contact-metasomatic and hydrothermal processes, while copper-porphyry deposits have a direct genetic connection with intrusive bodies. Geochemical data confirm that the deposits of the Almalyk ore region have a polygenetic nature and the main role in their formation is played by magmatic-hydrothermal systems.
