Аннотация
This article examines the issues of processing oxidized copper ores of the Kalmakyr deposit, which is relevant in the modern mining industry. In recent years, due to the increasing share of oxidized and mixed ores in the extracted raw materials, the low efficiency of their enrichment by traditional flotation methods has been established. In the research work, the mineralogical and chemical properties of oxidized copper minerals (malachite, azurite, etc.) were analyzed, and it was shown that they have low recovery rates in the flotation process based on sulfidization. In this regard, the main technological factors influencing the efficiency of copper leaching in the sulfuric acid leaching process - acid concentration, ore size, leaching time, temperature, and solid-liquid phase ratio (L:S) - were studied. As a result of the experiments, it was established that at a sulfuric acid concentration of 3%, ore size class - 1 mm, a temperature of 40°C, a melting time of 30 minutes, and a L:S ratio of 1:3, the degree of copper dissolution reaches 60-80%. The obtained results indicate the high prospects of hydrometallurgical processing of oxidized copper ores and substantiate the possibility of industrial application of this technology.
