Annotaciya
This article examines the importance of aerospace mapping methods and remote sensing technologies in oil and gas field exploration and preliminary assessment. The study analyzes the capabilities of satellite imagery, aerial photography, aerogeophysical data, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for identifying geological structures, mapping faults and tectonic features, and delineating prospective areas. A comparative review is provided of international experience (the USA, Canada, Russia, European countries, and Japan) and the practical application of these approaches in Uzbekistan (Kashkadarya region, the Bukhara–Khiva area, and the Fergana Valley), with an emphasis on improving exploration efficiency and reducing time and costs. The paper highlights that integrating aerospace datasets with geophysical, geochemical, and field investigations increases the reliability of interpretation and supports environmental monitoring. Finally, recommendations are proposed for wider implementation of aerospace technologies in Uzbekistan, including strengthening scientific cooperation, expanding high-quality data resources, and developing professional capacity.
