This article analyzes technological solutions for maximizing the efficient extraction of valuable components from ore based on a study of the beneficiability of gold-bearing ores at the Kauldy deposit using various methods, including gravity and flotation concentration, as well as a combination of these methods. This involves smelting and cyanidation of concentrates at a copper smelter, while the waste is processed by cyanidation. However, it is necessary to consider the challenges of filtering the cyanide residue due to the high clay mineral content of the ore. Based on the results of laboratory studies, a flotation-cyanide circuit is recommended for the Kauldy deposit. This circuit includes grinding the ore to 90% -0.074 mm, two stages of rougher and scavenger flotation, cleaning flotation of the froth product, and cyanidation of the flotation tailings.
