Annotatsiya
The article is devoted to the operation of large-size tyres of mining dump trucks in the specific climatic and mining conditions of Uzbekistan, using the example of the Muruntau open-pit mine of "Navoi MMC" JSC and the facilities of "Qizilqumsement" JSC. A statistical analysis of the causes of premature tyre failure, including normal wear, mechanical damage, and thermal destruction, is presented. It is noted that tyre replacement costs constitute a significant part of the cost of transporting rock mass, while overheating causes rubber delamination and subsequent economic losses. The results of field measurements of the thermal state of wheels using a thermal imager and the K.O.D.A. system are presented. It is established that the thermal load is caused not only by solar radiation and hysteresis but also by heat transfer from the braking mechanisms through the wheel rim. Local zones of maximum heating in tyres have been identified. Three approaches to solving the problem are considered, including regulated technological breaks, continuous TPMS monitoring of pressure and temperature, and forced cooling. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop innovative heat dissipation systems to increase tyre resource.
